"Clayton Noone proposed this release to us. We had no idea who the Strange Girls were at the time, but now I'm totally in love with them. We played with them in Dunedin once. Matt Middleton sat in on drums and they projected a seriously blasted Crazy Horse vibe out into the Otago Harbour. Most of their discography is up on their bandcamp page - I cannot recommend them highly enough. Released as a 10" lathe cut in an edition of 20 by Root Don Lonie For Cash, with beautiful covers by Markus Gradwohl that remind me of the farmland south of Auckland. As Clayton said: "pretty flash"." - Andrew
