"Released in an edition of 50 to celebrate Not Not Fun's Neon Commune festival/exhibition at the Echo Curio in Los Angeles. This is actually an outtake from the same sessions that produced Storm Veil/Desert Champion, also on Not Not Fun. Released as a 3" CDR in an edition of 50 with some interesting, yet entirely impractical packaging: 'Sprayed discs glued on to hand-painted and collaged pieces of wood salvaged from a parking lot in El Segundo.' - according to NNF. The wood kept falling off ours. Oh well. Other releases in the series were from Goliath Bird Eater, Pukers etc etc. This one traverses exactly the same scorched earth terrain as its tape bound older sister. The relentless California sun as the enemy. The NNF website says about it: 'No protective masks, no turning back..."" - Andrew
