"The second volume in our Emphemeroptera series is a transitional release, featuring both the prepared Persian instruments of the earlier albums put also marking the first appearance of Helga's barely functional Multi-Kord six string pedal steel. 'Water Boatman Restoratives' features Helga on synth and me on contact mic and microphone in addition to our usual arsenal. As well as aquatic insects yoga was also a primary influence on this volume of the series. Recorded via a variety of primitive methodologies and at full volume in our new roomy (and cockroach ridden) apartment in Koreatown. Zero complaints from neighbours, much to our disbelief. One of our most varied in tone releases and also one of my favourites." - Andrew
